Alright so I've never reviewed a full-on compilation album before and I know it'll be too much to go through a bit of info on all of the producers here, so let's talk about the main person behind this release: nagimiso.sys! You might know them from illustrating multiple vocaloid MVs, the most popular one being Roshin Yuukai by iroha and kuma.

The beautiful album sleeve and design was created by nagimiso and is the most unique album packaging I own. It's very sleek and opens like a book. It even comes with a sticker! I love the motorcycle design and the girl on the cover, it's just so cool!!

According to their blog, this album's theme is about the hot summers of Japan. It makes sense, all these tracks (especially Orbiter and Sitting on the Balkano) give off nice summer-y vibes. Just listening to Sitting on the Balkano right now makes me nostalgic for the warm sun!

While we have some great tracks for dancing to, we also have more chill songs (Purple TriBerry and Ultimete LOVE-LOVE Cune) that are less for dancing and more for just lounging around. This album does a great job at bringing together different genres under a similar umbrella where they all work together.

If you noticed, this album features a lot of prolific Vocaloid artists, the most popular ones probably being 8#Prince, Dixie Flatline, and t.Komine! (Though I'd say my faves are kagomeP and NAYUTA) The tracks that features vocals are #3 (Luka), #5 (Yuki), #7 (Miku), #8 (Luka), and #11 (Rin and Len).

Strangely enough, Ultimete LOVE-LOVE Cune doesn't seem to feature any vocals, but there are lyrics for the song in the booklet! Then again, a couple song titles have been changed in the booklet too. I'm a bit confused ^^" (13/05 edit: also just noticed, booklet says SPELL A MAGIC was written by Tripshots on one side but the other side and the package says it was written by Moca, geez...)

Anyways, this album is definitely one of my favourites (then again, I say that about all my albums!). Check out the crossfade here.

Like everything I own, I bought this album off Otakurepublic for the lovely price of about $25 ;u; I was very very lucky.

Don't worry, you can still buy it off Amazon! Perfect timing too, with summer on its way.
