this was the year i started keeping a blog and posting about doujin albums! exciting year!! i think this is also the year I made a twitter account to post my art (but this was later on).
all of these were created in AzPainter2, which is why I'm still proud of some of these pieces today! honestly, that software changed my life
using AzPainter's gradient tool on the background, i was also fond of drawing girls in big puffy jacketsi drew this for cirno day! i almost missed it but im pretty sure i posted it to twitter on timemade with AzPainter's paintbrush tool, all on one layer. when i posted it to twitter, it received like 200 likes, which was a LOT to me (and still is!!)made with AzPainter's brush tool as well, its supposed to be miku but it doesnt look like her loli distinctly remember drawing this when i had exams to study for, no regrets miku looks cute herei had an affinity for drawing girls smoking cigarettes. despite this i will never smoke.a drawing i made for halloween. to colour the eyes, i used a tutorial i found on twitter. done in AzPainter as well, i'm quite proud of the colours here to be honesta drawing i made on a hot summer day! actually, someone on discord took this drawing and animated it!! i was so thankful. i like this doodle!now i may not be remembering correctly, but i believe this kuroneko was the first drawing i had uploaded to my first website (a blogger site). very nice to upload it again! another example of me not using lineart. this was done in SAIyes, my last drawing of 2017, marisa looks so cute!just a cute luka~ and me using AzPainter's effects to the FULLEST!done in AzPainter as well! my 10th anniversary illustration for miku!! i worked sooo hard on it, you wouldn't believe how many layers i had here.i think i titled this one "not yukari" because i thought i was making too much fanart. so, let's pretend this isn't yukari with short hair :)this was either made with AzPainter's waterbrush, or SAI's marker...random, nameless girlmiku... maybe? i know i drew this VERY late on a school nightbro why. just why. this looks so bad. but its so bad i just need to upload it.i discovered AP2's tool to make those curves, and then i drew the girl after drawing them. i have no idea what this drawing is even of wwwwwwi drew the pink cloud first because i was interested in trying to draw clouds with AP2's brush tool, then i added the cute girl to sit on top of it!random teto doodle, with many AP2 effects and textures being employed!another random, nameless girl!probably my magnum opus for coloured pieces. all done in AzPainter2, it took me quite a long time. i was a rion fanatic back then and even though i don't listen to many songs with her, i want to own her software (V3 only, though) and use her myself! i am happy i made such a pretty piece for her 6th birthday~i uploaded this on piapro way back in the day, and it was reposted to tumblr from there and got a fair number of notes! i was so happy!!
