this year was weird. i don't have very many pieces from this time. i vaguely remember taking a hiatus from drawing because i was feeling a bit depressed for some reason. nonetheless, it makes me happy to see so many mikus!!
made with SAI's marker tool, which i found super fun to use
just a cute little miku doodle. i found it fun to draw in only black!! (foreshadowing?)
very neon miku! this one is cool because i tried drawing without any lineart, just layering each colour without any sketch! i relied heavily on SAI's select-colour thingy so i could draw the shadows easily
i remember drawing this one night, when i had a big english essay due~ her shirt has the character 花 on it. this was the first kanji character i had ever learned lol
in french class, i learned the word "jumelles", which means twins, hence the filename. i experimented with the background, i like it!
you see, before discovering AzPainter2, i tried to make my own textures in SAI using copy-paste. in doing so, i discovered you could make an effect like falling petals by adjusting the size. don't ask me why she is crying red and blue tears haha
my attempt at using SAI's crayon with no lineart or sketch, and all in one layer (i specifically remember that about this piece) honestly, i kinda like it, but the face is weird
in this one, i drew the red lines first then drew a miku inside them. used SAI's crayon tool!
i'm surprised i drew this that long ago, not bad for drawing something in a completely new pose
it seemed i really liked drawing with no lineart or sketch to help! i think this looks cool even today
i wanted to draw a simple miku with as few lines as possible, i enjoyed doing that a lot back then idk why
i dont know what prompted this drawing
miku in space! i like the colours here, and miku's whispy hair, maybe i should re-create it? also, did i forget to hide the sketch layer before exporting?!?!
i honestly think this one is super cute, but i dont know why i drew it. sometimes i just opened up SAI and let the brain flow
